Going back to Free never deletes anything. Your history stops being visible, not stored — and it reopens in full the day you come back. The only thing the product ever really erases is the server log window.
Before you decide
- What happens after the 14 days?
- Your hall moves to Free and keeps running: applications, votes, reports, announcements and polls stay unlimited, for ever. What changes is growth — staff seats cap at 3, the server journal stops accepting logs, notifications switch off, and applications older than 30 days stop being visible. Nothing is deleted, and we will never ask for a card to keep using Skali.
- Do I lose my applications if I go back to Free?
- No. History is re-gated, never erased: applications, votes, comments and decisions stay exactly where they are and reopen in full the day you upgrade again. The one exception is the server journal — logs are the only part of the product with a real storage cost, so a downgraded hall keeps 30 days of grace and then they go. Everything else is kept.
- Can I change or cancel at any time?
- Yes. Card, invoices, plan changes and cancellation all live in the Stripe portal, reachable from your hall's settings. Cancelling takes effect at the end of the period you have already paid for.
- When is Network actually worth it?
- At three halls. Two halls on Pro cost less than Network; the third is where it flips. If you run one community, Pro is the honest answer and we would rather say so.
- Do I need a Discord server?
- No. Linking Discord is optional and revocable — without it you lose the /bug command and the announcement relay, and everything else works in the browser. Your account never belongs to Discord.
